Congratulations to the Randolph T. and Mary K. Wedding award scholarship winner, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Graduate Student, Stephen Diggs.

The award is presented annually to a meritorious graduate student in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology graduate program who has made the most significant contribution to the peer reviewed scientific literature in biochemistry and molecular biology from the pool of applicants. 

The award was presented during the Wedding Award Presentation and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology graduate student symposium on September 16th, 2019.

Although they could not be in attendance this year we would like to thank Sheila O'Brien and Randolph (Randy) Wedding as this scholarship is made possible by their generous endowment given to the Department in honor of their parent's enormous contributions to the University of California.
