The department of Biochemistry is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Jingsong Zhang as the new Chair of the Biochemistry department, with his appointment effective July 1, 2020. He will also be the Director of the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Graduate Program.

Dr. Zhang is a Professor of Chemistry and is also a member of the Air Pollution Research Center. He served as Chair of the Chemistry department for three years in 2016-2019.
