The Department of Biochemistry's weekly BCH 252 seminar series is presented this week by

Gina Lee, Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, UC Irvine School of Medicine

Seminar Title: “RNA at the Center of Cancer Signaling and Metabolism”

Abstract: RNA is a pivotal genetic molecule in transmitting genetic information from DNA to proteins and plays a central role in gene expression programs during normal and malignant cell growth. In this seminar, I will discuss the intricate interplay between signal transduction pathways and cellular metabolism, focusing on their impact on RNA processing and chemical modifications.
