Biochemistry Professor of Teaching and CNAS Divisional Dean of Student Academic Affairs, Stephanie Dingwall, and two CNAS students, Anthony Stevens & Vanessa Kwong, recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to visit California Senate and Congressional Representatives to "...advocate for more funding and recognition of undergraduate research".
Their visit was made in connection with the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) Scholars Transforming through Research (STR) Program whose mission is to "...support and promote high-quality mentored undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative inquiry." The STR program brings this mission and the voices of our students directly to our legislation in the nation's capitol.
